Stops along the way

  • Dramatic coastal cliffs and deep azure waters surrounding the remote Tripiti cape on Crete's southern coast.

    Tripiti Beach

A striking pebble beach at Crete's southernmost tip, named for the sea-carved rock holes — 'tripes' — in the cliffs, reachable only by boat or a rugged coastal hike.

  • Mandrakia village houses and clear blue waters overlooking the southern coast of Crete.

    Sedoni beach

A wild pebble beach accessible only by hiking trail, offering sweeping panoramic views and a complete escape from the crowds.

  • Deep blue Aegean Sea waters and moored boats off the picturesque coast near Bahri, Crete

    Kalogeros

A private Cretan estate set above the southern sea, where ancient traditions of beekeeping, goat farming, fire cooking, olive oil pressing, and sea salt harvesting are still practiced daily.

  • Rugged headland and clear blue waters visible at Fournoti cape, on the southern coast of Crete.

    Fournoti beach

A remote golden-sand beach on Crete's southern coast, reachable only by boat, set against the crystalline blue of the Libyan Sea with no facilities and total seclusion.

  • Crystal clear Aegean waters meeting the dry, rugged cliffs of the Cretan coast during a summer day trip.

    Agios Pavlos

A remote golden-sand beach on Crete's southern coast, framed by dramatic sand dunes and the deep blue of the Libyan Sea.

  • Coastal panorama overlooking the bay and the unique village settlement of Agia Roumeli, Crete.

    Samaria gorge

Discover the Samaria Gorge from a unique perspective — aboard a motorboat cruising along the Libyan Sea. Instead of hiking the 16 km trail, you'll admire the gorge's towering cliffs and dramatic landscape from the water, getting up close to one of Crete's most iconic natural wonders without breaking a sweat. A perfect trip for families, couples, and anyone who wants to experience the magic of Samaria Gorge in a completely different way.

  • Coastal views of Marmara, showing dramatic cliffs meeting the deep blue waters off the Cretan shore.

    Marmara beach

A secluded white-pebble beach at the mouth of the Aradena Gorge, carpeted in polished marble stones and accessible by boat or a challenging coastal hike.

  • Please provide the folder path (context) for the image.

    Domata beach

Domata is a pristine, remote beach on Crete's south coast, reachable only by boat or a demanding hike, where golden sand meets the crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea.

  • Quaint harbor and traditional white houses of Loutro village, set against the deep blue waters of the southern Cretan coast.

    Loutro village

Loutro is a charming, car-free village on the southern coast of Crete, accessible only by boat or on foot. Nestled in a sheltered bay between steep cliffs and the deep blue of the Libyan Sea, its whitewashed buildings and unhurried way of life offer one of the most genuinely restful experiences on the island. Loutro is the place to come when the rest of Crete starts to feel too busy.

The "Sfakia rent a boat" trip was absolutely breathtaking; honestly, the deep blue of the sea against the dramatic mountains was views I will never forget. We spent hours exploring secret coves where the snorkeling was incredible, and the crew was so attentive, making us feel like locals rather than tourists. The way they arranged a delicious, fresh Greek lunch on a secluded beach added the perfect touch to a flawless day out. We just need a bit more time next time to explore the full coastline, but it was truly a perfect Cretan escape!
